The Stirling range is our budget range which is only available in maple, beech and white.
The drawer fronts, doors and carcasses are made of 15mm (MFC) Melamine faced chipboard. This is a very durable material, which can withstand domestic use, and general contract use which complies with EN 438. The edging tape used is PVC this cannot break or flick off. To clean this material you can wipe it with a damp soft soapy cloth.
The drawer sides and back are made of 12mm vinyl wrapped chipboard, which are all 120mm high and 300mm deep. All the drawer bottoms are made of 3mm (HDF) High Density Fibre Board this is a very dense material, which is one of the strongest man made timbers available. The drawers run on middle fixed nylon runners.
HDF is used for all the chest backs and wardrobe backs. The hinges are a 35mm metal hinge and cruciform plate, which is fully adjustable, set at 90 degrees. The handles are metal and have a drill setting of 128mm.
The hanging rail is a PVC coated 15mm tube fitted onto a plastic bracket. The backs are fixed on with 17mm staples. The mirrors are fixed on with double sided tape and secured with an adhesive if the mirror is cracked this prevents any larger pieces of glass from breaking away. All the products are labelled, displaying the type of product and bar coded.
